Silvina López Medin

Silvina López Medin was born in Buenos Aires and lives in New York. Her books of poetry are La noche de los bueyes (Madrid, Visor, 1999), Esa sal en la lengua para decir manglar (Buenos Aires, del Dock, 2014), and 62 brazadas (Buenos Aires, Zindo & Gafuri, 2015). Excursion was selected by Mary Jo Bang as the winner of the 2019 Oversound Chapbook Prize (Oversound, 2020). She co-translated Anne Carson’s Eros the Bittersweet (Z&G, 2015) into Spanish. She is an editor at Ugly Duckling Presse.
