Sydney Tammarine’s essays have appeared in Cleaver, Pithead Chapel, The Missing Slate, Gravel, and other publications. She is the co-translator of a book of poems, The Most Beautiful Cemetery in Chile (Green Fish Press, 2015). She received her MFA from Hollins University and teaches writing at Virginia Military Institute. She is currently at work on her first collection of essays.
