Thomas Centolella recently received a Lannan Literary Award. His first book, Terra Firma, was selected by Denise Levertov for the National Poetry Series. His next book, Lights and Mysteries, is due from Copper Canyon Press this fall. He lives in San Francisco and teaches in the Bay Area.
