Threa Almontaser is the author of the award-winning poetry collection The Wild Fox of Yemen (Graywolf Press, 2021), winner of the Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets, the Brooklyn Public Library Literary Prize, and the Maya Angelou Book Award, and honored by the National Book Award. Her work has been supported by National Endowment for the Arts and the Rudolph William Rosati Visiting Writer Program at Duke University. She earned her MFA from North Carolina State University and is at work on her first novel.
