W. S. Di Piero's recent books are Mickey Rourke and the Bluebird of Happiness: A Poet's Notebooks (2017) and  a collection of poems, The Complaints (2018). His Fat: New and Uncollected Prose will appear in fall 2020. All are published by Carnegie Mellon. He lives in San Francisco.
