Wendy Xu is most recently the author of Phrasis (Fence Books, 2017), named one of the Ten Best Poetry Books of 2017 by The New York Times Book Review. Her work has appeared in The Best American Poetry, Tin House, Poetry, The New Republic, Granta, and widely elsewhere. She teaches poetry at The New School in New York City, N.Y. Her next book is The Past (Wesleyan University Press, September 2021).
