Bárbara Selfridge has studied and been arrested with Grace Paley. She received a 1991 NEA fellowship, a 1988-89 writing fellowship at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and a 1989 Writers Exchange fellowship from Poets & Writers. Her stories have appeared in The Caribbean Writer, Other Voices, Sojourner, Five Fingers Review, and two fiction anthologies from Cleis Press.
