Jhumpa Lahiri received the Pulitzer Prize in 2000 for Interpreter of Maladies (Mariner Books, 2000), her debut story collection. She is also the author of The Namesake (Mariner Books, 2000), Unaccustomed Earth (Alfred A. Knopf, 2008), and The Lowland (Alfred A. Knopf, 2013), a finalist for both the Man Booker prize and the National Book Award in fiction. She has written three books in Italian, including In Other Words translated by Ann Goldstein (Vintage, 2017) and the novel Dove mi trovo (Guanda, 2018). Editor of The Penguin Book of Italian Short Stories (2019), she divides her time between Rome and Princeton. Il quaderno di Nerina ("Nerina's Notebook") will be published in Italy in June 2020.
