Jennifer Haigh is the author of the short story collection News from Heaven (Harper, 2013) and six critically acclaimed novels, most recently Mercy Street (Ecco, 2022). Her short stories have been published widely, in the Atlantic, Granta, The Best American Short Stories and many other places. Her books have won the PEN/Hemingway Award, the Massachusetts Book Award, and the PEN/New England Award in Fiction, and have been published in eighteen languages.
