ANNE HALLEY has two collections of poetry out from The University of Massachusetts Press, the most recent, The Bearded Mother in 1979. She also writes fiction, and was a Massachusetts Artists' Foundation Fellow in Fiction in 1980-81. Stories have appeared in Fiction, and many other quarterlies.
