More Awards Our congratulations to the following writers, whose work has been selected for the following anthologies:

Best Stories -- Four stories from
Ploughshares-a record number from a literary journal-will be among the twenty in
The Best American Short Stories 2001: Claire Davis's "Labors of the Heart," from the Spring 2000 issue edited by Paul Muldoon, and Peter Ho Davies's "Think of England," Elizabeth Graver's "The Mourning Door," and Jess Row's "The Secrets of Bats," all from the Fall 2000 issue edited by Gish Jen. The anthology is due out this October from Houghton Mifflin, with Barbara Kingsolver as the guest editor and Katrina Kenison as the series editor.

Best Poetry -- James Richardson's "Vectors: 45 Aphorisms and Ten-Second Essays," from the Spring 2000 issue, will appear in
The Best American Poetry 2001 this September from Scribner, with Robert Hass as the guest editor and David Lehman as the series editor.

H. Henry -- Elizabeth Graver's "The Mourning Door" has also been chosen for
Prize Stories 2001: The O. Henry Awards by editor Larry Dark. The anthology will be published in October by Anchor Books.

Pushcart -- Elizabeth Graver's "The Mourning Door," Jess Row's "The Secrets of Bats," and Pamela Painter's story "Grief" (from the Fall 2000 issue as well) have been selected for
The
Pushcart Prize XXVI: Best of the Small Presses, which will be published by Bill Henderson's Pushcart Press this fall.
