Our congratulations to the following writers, whose work has been selected for these anthologies:

Best Stories—ZZ Packer's "Every Tongue Shall Confess" and Sharon Pomerantz's "Ghost Knife," both from the Fall 2002 issue edited by Margot Livesey, will be included in The Best American Short Stories 2003. The anthology is due out this October from Houghton Mifflin, with Walter Mosley as the guest editor and Katrina Kenison as the series editor.

Best Poetry—Joshua Clover's "Aeon Flux: June," from the Winter 2001–02 issue edited by Jorie Graham, will appear in The Best American Poetry 2003 this September from Scribner, with Yusef Komunyakaa as the guest editor and David Lehman as the series editor.

Pushcart—Valerie Laken's story "Before Long," from the Winter 2002–03 issue edited by C. D. Wright, and Joan Silber's story "The High Road," from the Fall 2002 issue edited by Margot Livesey, have been selected for The Pushcart Prize XXVIII: Best of the Small Presses, which will be published by Bill Henderson's Pushcart Press this fall.

O. Henry—Joan Silber's "The High Road" has also been chosen for Prize Stories 2003: The O. Henry Awards by editor Laura Furman. The anthology will be published in September by Anchor Books.
